Acrylic, The Dallas skyline, and the dreamiest blue color scheme…what more could you want in a wedding?
Not only was Morgan and Veton’s wedding absolutely gorgeous - it has remained one of my favorites to have worked on a couple years later! When Morgan reached out inquiring about wedding calligraphy and signage and told me her theme was “Dallas Love”, I couldn’t say YES! fast enough. This was right up my alley - the sort of “ideal client” job that all the wedding pros tell you to find.
When you’re planning your wedding, it’s no secret that you’ll have to make some tough budget decisions. Every couple is unique, so their must-have list is going to vary widely. For Morgan and Veton, their calligraphy and signage must-have list was a mile long *swoon*.
After a few messages, emails and meetings in person, we finally landed the designs on all of her calligraphy and signage. From envelopes to a giant seating chart, table numbers to glass tile place cards - Morgan and Veton had all the calligraphed goodies you could want at your wedding!
Here is what Morgan had to say about why she decided to include calligraphy and signage in her wedding budget:
I’ve always felt like calligraphy adds a special and timeless touch to special events. There was no question that we would have calligraphy in many different areas of our wedding.
It’s hard for me, personally, to pick what my favorite piece to create was but if I had to start listing all the ones that would be in the number one spot, I would say all of the acrylic signage. This was my first opportunity to get to work on acrylic and I was so excited. If you’ve been following my work since this wedding, you can see that I still love working with acrylic for couples and vendors. Here is what Morgan loved best about all of her Lonestar Letter pieces:
This is a tough choice because we truly do have so many special pieces from Lonestar Letter on our big day! I have to go with the gift from Veton with the lyrics to our first dance. It’s a piece that will always have a special place in our home!
Fun fact about these lyrics: This song is “Front Row Seat” by Josh Abbott Band and Morgan and I both went crazy about posting photos of the calligraphy because if you’re a Texas country fan you probably love JAB just as much as we do. So imagine our excitement when the band’s instagram reposted this piece 😱 Such a fun little memory for a song that holds such a special meaning for this couple.
I love getting to stay in touch with my past couples and watch their marriage grow. It means so much to me when couples want my signage for the first day of the rest of their lives. Your wedding should be beautiful and reflect your love as a couple, but your marriage should do that even more. So just how is married life treating the Krasniqis? Morgan says:
Married life has been great! With another little one on the way I feel our bond has grown even stronger and I’m reminded daily that I married my own Prince Charming.
Morgan and Veton’s wedding was also featured in the Brides of North Texas Spring/Summer 2020 issue! This is a true testament to this couple and all of the wedding vendors they hand picked. None of this would have been possible without the work of this vendor dream team!
